Mixografia

This art-publishing gallery worked with famous printmakers to recreate their artwork as limited edition pieces. Mixograifa is an innovative patent that molds high relief up to 4” from direct paper pulp. The client needed a logo that would be more corporate looking yet innovative; something that would not take from a particular art style. Letter “M” created as negative space moves outside the box. The font is Baskerville to show longstanding tradition, yet the format and design treatment is contemporary.
